Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2015

The Council co-organised the Seminar on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2015 with the Committee on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines. (Programme)
This is the fourth Chinese medicines seminar organised by the Committee in conjunction with the Council, the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority. The Seminar aimed to promote the research and development (R&D) of Chinese medicines in Hong Kong and to facilitate communication and foster potential opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders in the Chinese medicine sector.
The Seminar covered a wide range of topics, including the current status of regulations and registration of Chinese medicines products in the Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas markets, Chinese medicines quality, safety and new technologies, as well as management of digestive diseases with Chinese and integrative medicine.
