Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2016

The Council co-organised the Seminar on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2016 with the Committee on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines. (Programme)

This is the fifth Chinese medicines seminar organised by the Committee in conjunction with the Council, the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority. The Seminar aimed to promote the research and development (R&D) of Chinese medicines in Hong Kong; to facilitate communication and foster potential opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders in the Chinese Medicine sector.

This seminar included plenary lectures and parallel sessions covering various important topics, such as development of Chinese medicines in Hong Kong and the Mainland, recent R&D trends of Chinese medicines, and treatment of metabolic diseases from the Western and Chinese medicine perspectives.
