Metrology Symposium 2016

The Council and the Standards and Calibration Laboratory co-organised the Metrology Symposium 2016. (Flyer)

Hong Kong has been serving as a testing and certification (T&C) service hub for the Pearl River Delta Region of Mainland China for many years. Quality management systems (QMS) and metrology play a crucial role in supporting the T&C industry. This symposium aimed to provide a platform for the practitioners to learn the importance of the QMS and its impact on metrology. The topics of the symposium focused on the latest development in the QMS, measurement uncertainties in unusual situations, method validation technique in chemical measurements and medical metrology.
