The Council and the Hong Kong Accreditation Service arranged the Seminar on Testing and Certification Services for Engineers for the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. (Details)

Testing and certification is essential to environmental protection and construction. For example, construction materials are tested to verify that they meet the required safety and environmental standards, air samples are tested to gauge air quality, and management system of an organisation is certified to be in compliance with international environmental management standards.

The seminar updated participants on the latest development in environmental-related testing and certification services.
